I have a friend who just celebrated her 40th birthday. She is such a sweet person and always calls everyone friend. It doesn't matter if she is talking to my 4 year old or myself. I created her this card using the MME - Chalk Studio Collection - Decorative Alphabet from The Scrapping Nook.

Enjoy Everyone And Smile Every Day
Another card I made for The Scrapping Nook using the MME - Chalk Studio Collection - Layered Stickers and Decorative Brads.
I have to confess I used the whole package of Layered Stickers in two days. They complimented the pattern paper so well I just couldn't help but use them all up.
See you again tomorrow. :)

Life is Better With True Friends - Hello
I'm super excited to show everyone what I have created with this awesome collection from My Mind's Eye - Chalk Studio. I have never used a collection like this with such light and soft colors mixed in with black and white.
Here is a card that I made for The Scrapping Nook. I'm loving the Chalk Studio - Twine and Stickers #1.
Thanks for stopping by.

Tennessee Water Fun
Today I'm sharing a layout I did for The Memory Nest and Little Bit of Scrap.
We just took a family vacation to Tennessee and went to the community center in Spring Hill. We has so much fun I was even able to snap a few pictures of the hubby smiling. Which if you follow my blog at all you would know that pictures in general of him doesn't happen very often and getting a smiling one is like seeing a unicorn.
My interactive element is my hidden journaling underneath the photo of my son.
I used Sketch #7 from the 2 Broke Girls Blog - Spice & Sugar Sketch A Thon.
Thanks for stopping by.

Swim Lesson
One of my favorite summer activities is swim lessons. I have such fond memories of going each year while growing up it's something I love that I get to pass on for my children. LOL, granted there is no big scary high dive at their lessons.
I made this layout for The Memory Nest's Sketch with a twist: monochromatic challenge. Since the water is nice and blue I thought it would only be fitting to use that as my color choice.
Have a wonderful week. :)

Sunshine
I can't believe summer is already coming to an end. Trinity starts school tomorrow. My little girl is going into first grade. Crazy!!! Well in honor of summertime my last two layouts I've made for The Memory Nest both have to do with summer activies, specifically water.
We took the kiddos several times to Canyon Lake about 15 mintues from our home. It's actually a gated community with a lake big enough for boating. My SIL got us in and it's been fun sitting by the waters edge watching the kiddos play and getting wet myself. Although that means bathing suites which I did wear but you won't see any photos of myself. :)
