Oh Baby! Card

I made this card for a baby shower on Sunday.  Just a little something simple. 

I used the card sketch from Leading a Craftastic Life. 

This is also my example for my Last Card Challenge over at Sketches 4 You.

Mohawk

I love to scrap for my daughter but this layout is totally BOY.  My daughter from time to time likes to have her hair put up in a pony or pig tails with clips.  Since she was itty bitty we have called them her pretties.  After doing my daughter hair one day my son comes in and put one of her pretties on the top of his head. Trinity and I had a little laugh and then I clipped it in his hair.  LOL, my husband came in from working in the garage to find it in his hair.  That is when he took Luke into the bathroom and waalaa he had a Mohawk. 

I love doing these song challenges at Scrap it with a Song.  I used Aerosmith’s 90s hit “Livin’ On the Edge”.

Chocolate

I finally started a new layout, hooray for me.   I picked up the March Kit from Paper Lovelies for an amazing $15 plus shipping (thanks tax return).  My oldest and I made chocolate covered strawberries and banana's a few months ago.  We had such a great time making them but even more fun eating them the following few nights for dessert.

April Challenge to use 23 eyelets at Scrapbookers Anonymous.  Now I like using eyelet and thought this was going to be an easy one for me.  I was surprised that it was really hard to use 23 of those little things.

Now what makes it all come together, the sketch I used was from Sketch Inspiration.  I just love Trisha sketches and looking around the gallery to see what everyone came up with.

And, now last but not least one of my favorite ways to scrap, Shopping List Challenge from Leading A Craftastic Life.  My three from the list are 2 Photos, 2+ Pattern Papers & Journaling.

Month Off

LOL, guess it looks like I took the month of March off without even realizing it.  Well, I'm back in the swing of things or at least I'm hoping to be.  I posted my April Challenge along with the rest of the DT over at Sketches 4 All.  Plus, coming up we are having a Mini Contest for Cards and Tags, come on over and check out what's happening.  Ok now for the bad news my camera has gone missing AGAIN.  I tend to lose it at least once a year.  Yesterday, I borrowed my MIL's camera and hopefully will be posting some layouts soon.  Until then...
