Talent Competition

This part of the competition will be the talent segment.  You can create an embellishment, emboss, ink, paint, etc...it's all up to you.

Here is my example: I made the flower from fabric on this card with the May Sugar Kit.

Alter Something?!?

It's been a while since I've altered anything.  Trinity and I went to the store and I let her pick out a gift for her preschool teacher.  She picked out a jar candle.  I had already made a card and thought it would be fun to alter the candle to match.

Show Me Your Castle

I'm host this weeks game at Scrapdango.  I'm calling it "Show Me Your Castle".  I just love to see where other people craft.  Crowned is more themed toward pageants but I'm going the princess/castle route.

Here are a few pictures of my space.  I would love to see yours.  Post a link in the comment section or better yet come on over and show the whole board.

Sunday Funday

I'm having an awesome Sunday.  Thanks to some help from my big sister and our friend Crystal.  I invite my friends over for a yearly tea party which was today.  After everyone left and the kiddos went down for naps I hung out on the couch with my hubby for 2 hours.  Then I thought I really should get something accomplished I came in my scrap room and made my MIL a mothers day card.   My husband will BBQ tonight, gotta love the spring weather.  Hope you all are having a awesome Sunday.

May Sugar Kit Reveal

I just love that even though this is the May Sugar Kit which tends to be more girly there is always something for the boys.  I made this card for my SIL baby shower, they are pregnant with baby number 2.  I love these clothes pins that come in the May Kit.  Instead of putting my card in an envie I decided to clip it to the bag.

You'll see from my next few projects you will see my use of the fiber that came in this kit. I don't normally use fabric on my projects.  Let's just say I think I found a new love.  :)

I love the gray, yellow and reddish color combo for this card.

I made this card for my DD preschool teacher, who by the way totally rocks.  It says on the outside, "We Really" and the inside "Appreciate You".

I also completed a double layout.

 A single layout.

Stay tuned because I have a few more projects in store for the Crowned Challenges that start today.
