10 More Spots Open On My List

I haven't been paying very much attention to my 101 in 1001.  Here is an update.  I still have 10 items open on my list.  I really need to finish writing my list so I can complete it.

11. Pay off credit cards.
Finally complete.  Although I just replaced it with 2 new car payments.  :)

43. Get a watering can.
It's not a pretty metal one like I had hoped but at least I finally picked one up.

84. Take a real family vacation.  Far enough to get on a plane.
Hello Tennessee.  The kiddos love the plane and we had an amazing time.  Makes me want to do more traveling.

80. Make brownies from scratch.
These turned out ok.  I thought I posted about this already but I can't find it anywhere.

90. Take Trinity to get a pedicure(toes painted).
Trin and I went to a place on Father's Day while my Hubby and Son went to the car show.

88. Get a facial.
I just went and did this a few weeks ago.  Amazing!!!

87. Do zumba, at least once.
My SIL finally convienced me to go to a Zumba class with her.  Fun but not my cup of tea.

7. Take 10 hikes at various locations. (8/10)
We hiked on two trails both only about 20 minutes from the house.  After the second trail we ended at a fire station and the fire men let the kiddos honk the horn, look at equipment, etc...

While in TN we did  a few walks. I wouldn't call it hiking but it was walks outdoors up some hills and what-not.

An Apple Day

Hello and welcome back for the beginning of another week.  We are going to start out this week with a Make it Monday from The Memory Nest.

We go apple picking every year with my sister.  I scrapped this double to show off all of the photos from our trip last year.  The large one on the left of the kiddos and I is my favorite photo.

Have a Happy Monday!!!

Fall Blog Hop

Hello Everyone and Welcome to the Fall Blog Hop Hosted by
Jessica @ Finding Sunshine.

You should have come here from Tammy @ Creatively Me.  If you just stumbled upon the hop you should start from the beginning Jessica @ Finding Sunshine.

Here is the project that I created for the hop. I used the Bella Blvd Collection - Trick or Treat.   My son attends Pre-K twice a week.  He has made a new little friend which is very exciting!!  He asked me if we could have a playdate with his friend.  I told Luke why don't we put a note in his cubby.  So I made this Halloween card with a note and our number.  We hope to hear back soon.

Giveaway! Comment on each blog and you will be entered into the drawing for an Echo Park Fall Reflection Paper Pack.

I'm the last stop on your hop.  Here is the line up if you missed any of the other ladies.

Card for Teacher - Hello October

I made this card for Trinity's 1st Grade Teacher.  I like to create cards every few months.  I sent it last week in her Friday Folder, hope she liked it.  :)

I love that even though this is the "Trick or Treat" Collection from Bella Blvd you can totally made a project that is more fall based with the leaves.

Hello October

Happy Halloween

I started creating front door wreaths a couple of years ago.  I got this Trick or Treat Collection from Bella Blvd and thought it was perfect to make a door hanging.   Below are a few pictures of what I created.  What do you all think?

 Happy Halloween!!!

Spring Hill

Hello for another Make It Monday from The Memory Nest

Challenge: Use the Ombre technique.
You choose the layout and the color!
Twist: use Watercolors – sprays or mists - stencils  - stamping

Ombre means having colors or tones that shade into each other —used especially on fabrics in which the color is graduated from light to dark or vice versa.  The word "ombre" in French means shadow or shade.
Here is my example.  It's from our Tennessee trip last month.  We visited the site where the "Battle of Spring Hill" took place.  I used a green mist on my kraft paper and green ink on the cardstock to the far right.
