My Little Monsters

My sister, my kiddos and I went apple picking 2 years ago for the first time.  We had so much fun we decided to do it each year.  This past year we went but they had a dry season so no apples.  We did get to try a few slices of apples and apple cider samples.  The kids had fun play in the hay and petting the animals.  We also had a fun picnic and played around for a bit.  That is what my picture is below.  I was laying on the ground and one kiddo has a stick and the other a pile of dirt.  LOL, gotta love kids.

Christmas Smiles

Christmas Eve afternoon at my sisters home opening Christmas presents.

I'm so loving the look of my snowflakes I thought a close up shot would be a fun idea.  I didn't have the best lighting so it's hard to see them really sparkle and the great texture I added to them.

Double Layout X2

I've been slowly working on an album for my Aunt of my cousins last year of high school.  I found this double layout sketch and it fit perfectly.  Well, with a few variations of course.

Having some fun on the BEACH

It was technically Luke's second time to the beach.  I don't really count the first time because he was only weeks old.  This was the first time he could enjoy it.  He had a blast until one of the waves knocked him over.

My Memories GIVEAWAY!!!

I'm having a giveaway that might help you get all caught up with those pictures you've been wanting to scrap!  I was approached by Liz at MyMemories to try out their digital scrapbook software for free.  I often get asked why don't I do digital?  Honestly it just seems complicated and confusing.  After spending some time with the MyMemories software I was able to figure out each step and it really wasn't as hard as I expected.  I'm still not much into digital for scrapping my pages but I've been wanting to take my sketches on put into the computer.  This program was perfect for that.  I used black, gray and white but there are a million color to pick from.

My favorite feature of the MyMemories Suite is the options to share your album. That way I can save and share with you all on my blog or print them, get a book made or make into a calendar (which is my next project).

So here is the giveaway part; Enter for a chance to win a full version.  The winner will be chosen by a random name picker. Winner will be announced March 30th.

All you have to do is leave a comment here telling me what you think of digital creating? Is it a fear, fun, exciting??? Let me know!

Use my code to get a $10 discount off the purchase of the My Memories Suite Scrapbook software and a $10 coupon for the MyMemories Store, The code is STMMMS13143

Have a wonderful weekend all and good luck!

Surprise, Surprise

8. Lose two pant sizes and stay in the single digit clothing size. (1/2)

Before I stepped on the scale I was prepared for whatever it said.  Over the last few months I haven't had the extra funds for my yoga classes.  Plus, with the holiday food and treats I thought for sure I gained some weight.  To my huge surprise I lost another 3 pounds.  I'm sure it's just that muscle turning in to fat but at this point I'll take what I can get.  I've lost a total of 23 pounds.  I put on a pair of jeans one size smaller than my norm and they fit.  Talk about jumping up and down (burning more calories ;).  Another 20 more and I think it will be perfect.

I know that I said this when I lost the first 10 pounds but I thought 23 pounds would look like more.  But, knowing that I'm healthier is actually what is the most important part.

Brother and Sisterly Love

A typical weekend morning around my parts.  My DH went to turn on the sprinklers to water our front plants and my half dressed children want to sit on our front block wall and watch.
