#71 - Completed

71. Buy new photo albums.
I picked up 3 new albums just the other day.  I have a feeling I'll need to buy more but this will make a big dent in my picture pile for sure.  Now to organize and actually put them into the albums is another number on my 101 list. 

Christmas Anyone ;)

Yes I know it's not Christmas but that just shows you that I'm behind in my scrapping.  This layout is of two Christmas favorites of mine.  Baking cookies with Meme, Kiki and my Sister with both my kiddos and from time to time my two cousins.  The second picture is our candy eating day oh I meant decorating gingerbread houses.  LOL, the name on that day would vary between myself and my kids as you can see from the bottom picture.

Washi Tape

I think I found a new love...washi tape.  I have read other crafters gush about this stuff and now I know why.  There are so any things you can do with this stuff.  Here I basically used it as tape to hold down my stripes of paper.

We Will Walk We Will Remember Relay

Here is my take on this awesome sketch. Ok, I have to brag a little. These letter I made turned out AMAZING!!! I really need to take a close up of them.

We participate in the ACS Relay for Life every year. My big sister created a team 6 years ago when my mom was battling cancer. We have since lost my mom but my sister each year continues to be apart of the committee and the caption of our relay team. Each year we attend and I will help do the registration with my sister and our friend Crystal. It's a 24 hour event so we stay the night and my kiddos get to walk around the track and play on the football field.  I had these pictures printed along with a stack of others.  I was flipping through my newly printed photos and stopped in my tracks.  The very top picture is my 3 year old son Luke.  I haven't figured out yet why but this picture reminds me so much of my Mom. 

Reveal Day - June Spice Kit

Hooray it's reveal day!!!  This month it's the Spice Kit for me and I'm loving the washi tape and these chipboard house embellishments are adorable.  I love how versatile chipboard can be.  I used one of my new marker pens to color this little house.  :)

Talent Competition

This part of the competition will be the talent segment.  You can create an embellishment, emboss, ink, paint, etc...it's all up to you.

Here is my example: I made the flower from fabric on this card with the May Sugar Kit.

Alter Something?!?

It's been a while since I've altered anything.  Trinity and I went to the store and I let her pick out a gift for her preschool teacher.  She picked out a jar candle.  I had already made a card and thought it would be fun to alter the candle to match.
