70. Get 5 decorative items for my home. (2/5)
We bought this old 1940's dresser. I polished it up and it's new home is at the beginning of my hallway. Can't wait to buy a few items to put on top of it. :) I'm planning on putting some throw blankets and stuff inside. It's a little shorter than I really wanted but I think it will do.
8. Lose two pant sizes or 35 pounds. (25/35)
This had been a very interesting and long journey. I'm now down 25 pounds which I'm happy about but honestly I don't see much of a difference.
23. Make a pickle.
I consider this one 1/3 complete. I planted cucumbers, from seed, in my garden. Now hopefully it grows so I can pickle it. :)
41. Stay at a Bed and Breakfast.
We dropped my kiddos off at my sisters for the night. Then drove about an hour from her house to a bed and breakfast in LA. The place was very pretty and breakfast was yummy. I was full otherwise I could have keep on eating. Yum!
7. Take 10 hikes at various locations. (5/10)
While Greg and I had our night away there was a marsh not to far from the place. We made our
own trails and found a few too.
21. Do a charity walk/run.
We do the Relay for Life every year to flight cancer and celebrate more birthdays. For those who don't know what Relay for Life is you can click here to find out more info on my team and the ACS.
I saw the old dresser at your tea party. I wanted to say something but got sidetracked. I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh good I'm so glad that you liked it. I've been wanting to mention it to you and I keep getting sidetracked. :)
DeleteLove older furniture, my daughter and I enjoy fixing them up and transforming them.

I love this list, and how you are keeping track. I like that you are checking them off, and you aren't going in order - also that you are acknowledging partial completions. I can't wait to see what you complete next, I think I will borrow a few items for my list. Blog Comment #1 - SuziLB
