Happy 4th Birthday
I'm super excited that I finally scrapped these pictures. I'm usually very current on my photos but these are from my DD birthday party last year, April. I know that is still more current then most scrappy people that I know but it's way behind for me.

DT Call
A message from Pat:
I am having an open call for 2 people to join our DT @ Scrapping the Moments.
We are a small, friendly, scrap booking/paper crafting community.
I am looking for someone to head up the weekly photography challenge.
You do not need to be a professional photographer to do this.
But I would like someone who is excited about taking photos & know their way around their camera.
You would have to come up with a weekly idea of what we should photograph.
You can see what we have been doing here http://www.scrappingthemoments.com/index.php?topic=2267.0
If you are interested please send some of your photos, ideas you might have for the challenges, a little about yourself,
and if you have a blog please send me a link to it, to pat@scrappingthemoments.com By February 4,2012
If you can't post on the members board or gallery please do not apply.
I am only looking for people who can participate & show interest in our community.
The 2nd position will be doing an ATC challenge. We have just started doing these & there is a lot
of interest in these ATCs by our members. Only apply if you can commit to doing a monthly challenge
and to participate on the message board & gallery. If interested please send me some samples of your
work, especially ATCs you have done & if you have a blog or gallery send a link to that also.
You can send this info to pat@scrappingthemoments.com by February 4,2012.
There is no compensation at this time for our DT members. But there is joy from sharing our talents with others.

Hooray! I'm finally done with my DS 2nd birthday layout. I'm usually up to date on my scrapping but for some reason this year it took me forever to scrap my kiddos birthday's. I still haven't done my DD birthday.

Luke Has Arrived
54. Update photos that I have hanging in frames in the whole house.
I finally have Luke's picture hanging up through out my house. He previously was in one picture frame out of the several. This is one from our spare room.

Dry Spell Is Over
I've unintentionally put my list on hold. Last week I revised/updated my (still uncompleted) list. But, by doing that I think it really go me at it again. I was able to complete 3 items without much thought.
58. Go on a real date (with my DH).
Last Friday I came home from work and my DH said the kiddos were staying the night at his parents. We went to dinner (thanks Christmas gift card). After dinner we grabbed some frozen yogurt and rented a movie. We went home ate our yogurt and cuddled on the couch and watched the movie. It was the best date night in a long time.
17. Take my kids to the movies.
I found out that a local movie theater did free Saturday morning kid movies. How perfect!!! We watched Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who. Such a cute movie and made for a fun family outing.
64. Keep my niece overnight.
I had Monday off from work so what a perfect weekend to do my #64. On Sunday my BIL & SIL dropped off my Niece Hailey and she got to have her first sleepover at our house. My DD has been taking about it all week so needless to say she was super excited when Hailey arrived. Hailey is 2 and there is only so much you can do with a 4 year old and (2) 2 year olds running around. But we had a blast; building Lego's, blocks, dolls, coloring, etc... Trinity was super sad to see Hailey go but I promised we would have her over again.

Dr. Saltsman
When we were over at Meme and Papa's House (my grandparents) to make christmas cookies. I was telling them that Luke (my son) has these bites on his arm, back and chest. So Papa broke out this bottle of calamine lotion and we put it on my son. Then Meme said that is why she would call him Dr. Saltsman when their kids and us grand kids were growing up. I don't have that in my memory from being a kid but that is the fun of being the mom to the great grandkids because now I get to hear a story and create memories for my children.

Who Needs Cheese When You Can Have Chocolate
My Sister, DD and myself had a wonderful time on our road trip in November. I have all the pictures printed and this is my first layout with may to follow.
I had this layout invisioned but it came out nothing like I pictured. I have been tinkering with this page for days. I hate when I picture something and it comes out all wrong. LOL, I guess you get what you get sometimes.

Major Changes
So I've made some major changes to my 101 in 1001 list. When I first started this back in May 2011 I didn't really know where I was headed or exactly what I was doing. I think I have it figured out (for the most part ;). My list is now had it's own page 101 in 1001, I have completion dates on some items but not all and links to the posts related to the completion of that item. I hope you all have been enjoying my 101 in 1001 journey so far. I'm looking forward to a new year. Here are a few items that I've completed and haven't blogged about.
5. Rent a lake/river/beach house.
LOL, not really a house it was a timeshare however I'm counting it because we were at the beach.
13. Plant a herb garden.
This one is complete however they all died. I do want to try this again.
25. Try 10 new recipes.
32. Do something that scares me.
39. Get a pedicure.
49. Go to a Farmers Market.
65. Make homemade applesauce.

Christmas Play
My DD is in Preschool this year and we had the honor of attending her first Christmas play. Hooray!!! My shy little girl is really coming out of her shell. She did an amazing job yelling, I mean signing all of the songs with the other kids in her class. :)

What A Monstrosity
We go to the pumpkin patch each year with my in-laws. This year we invited my Dad which was added fun. I love that my in-laws and my Dad get along so well. Shhh...don't tell my husband I got him in one of the pictures. It was so nice to scrap pictures of my kids with my Dad, my DH and me.
